1)Simile(उपमा अलंकार ):- when a direct comparison is made between two different objects of different kinds, which are alike at least in one point it's called simile.as,as----as, so, like
किमान एक बाबतीत साधर्म्य असलेल्या परंतु परस्परांहून भिन्न असणारे दोन वस्तू ,व्यक्ती, ठिकाण यांची तुलना उपमा अलंकारात होते.as, as----as, so, like
EXA:-
1)He is as strong as lion.
2)The story was as old as hills.
2)metaphor(रुपक अलंकार ):- when an indirect comparison is made without the words, like,as,as----as, so, like, it is called metaphor.
अशा सारख्या किंवा तत्सम शब्द न वापरतात, एक वस्तू ची तुलना दुसऱ्या वस्तूशी करणारा अलंकार तो रूपक अलंकार होय .
EXA:-

3)Perspnification(चेत्नागुणोक्ती अलंकार ):- personification is a figure in which objects without life are spoken of as having life for the qualities of a human being.
निर्जीव वस्तू सजीव आहेत अशी कल्पना करून त्या मानवाप्रमाणे वागतात किंवा कृती करतात असे वर्णन करताना हा अलंकार वापरतात.
EXA:-
1)The mountains sing together, the hills rejoice and clap hands.
2)Their frowing foreheads to the skies.
4)Apostrophe(परोक्ष संबोधन ):- when a speaker directly addressess to the dead the absent,inanimate,or personified object or idea as it was present. It is called 'apostrophe '.
अस्तित्वात नसलेले किंवा प्रत्यक्ष समोर नसलेल्या बाबी बाबत ती समोर आहे असे कल्पून तीच बोलण्यासाठी हा अलंकार वापरतात.
